Best Dolphin Wall Climbing Pool Cleaner Reviews for 2026

The Dolphin Premium 20 is a robotic pool vacuum cleaner designed for in-ground pools of all shapes and surface types. It targets pool owners who want a reliable, hands-off cleaning solution that delivers spotless results without daily effort. With its powerful wall-climbing capability and active scrubbing brush, this unit cleans both floors and walls thoroughly.

Standout features include a top-load filter basket that makes debris removal quick and easy, plus a plug-and-play system that removes the need for complex setup. Just activate the power supply, drop the robot in, and it runs a full cleaning cycle in two hours. The active scrubbing brush ensures sticky dirt and algae are lifted, leaving surfaces pristine.

Build quality is consistent with Dolphin's reputation for durability. The unit weighs about 23 pounds and has a compact footprint, making it easy to carry and store. The gray color is neutral and fits most pool environments. While it lacks smart connectivity features such as app control or programmable schedules, its straightforward operation is a plus for those who prefer simplicity.

One potential drawback is the absence of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, which limits automation. Additionally, the price point may be higher than some entry-level cleaners, but the robust construction and performance justify the investment for serious pool owners. The lack of customer reviews at launch means early adopters should rely on Dolphin's established brand history.

Overall, the Dolphin Premium 20 is an excellent choice for homeowners seeking a dependable, easy-to-use robotic pool cleaner. It delivers strong cleaning performance, requires minimal maintenance, and is backed by decades of expertise. If you value a no-fuss, efficient cleaning solution, this model is well worth considering.

The Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus is a fully automatic robotic pool cleaner specifically engineered for in-ground pools up to 40 feet in length. It is best suited for pool owners who want a hands free cleaning solution that handles both floors and walls with minimal intervention.

Standout features include its active scrubbing brush which combines wall climbing power with a continuous scrub action. This means it loosens and removes stubborn dirt, algae, and debris from pool surfaces without the need for manual brushing. The top load filter basket is another highlight, allowing quick removal of captured debris for consistently clear water.

In real world performance, the plug and play design truly simplifies pool maintenance. Simply connect the power supply, drop the unit into the water, and let it run for about two hours. Its smart navigation ensures thorough coverage even around obstacles and irregular shapes. The build quality reflects Dolphin's40 plus year legacy in pool care, using durable materials to withstand constant submersion and chemical exposure.

One potential drawback is its limitation to in ground pools only, so owners of above ground pools will need a different model. Also, there is no manual remote control, but the autonomous navigation is generally effective. At just over20 pounds, it is easy to lift but may be heavy for some users. Overall, the NautilusCC Plus offers exceptional value for those seeking a reliable, low maintenance robotic cleaner.

Final verdict: For in ground pool owners who value convenience and thorough cleaning, the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus is a top choice. Its wall climbing scrubbing action, easy filter access, and set and forget operation make it a worthwhile investment that saves time and effort.

Colors are clean white and the construction feels durable, though long-term reliability is yet to be verified with use.

One limitation is that this model is best for smaller pools, so owners of very large pools may need a bigger unit. The two-hour cycle is also not the fastest on the market, and there is no remote control or scheduling feature as part of this package.

Overall, the Dolphin Nautilus Pool-Up delivers dependable, automated cleaning for small to mid-sized pools. It is a smart investment for anyone seeking convenience, solid scrubbing power, and a reputable brand at a reasonable price.

Dolphin has spent over 40 years perfecting robotic pool cleaners, and the Nautilus CC Pro reflects that expertise. The top-load filter basket simplifies debris removal, and the 16.5-pound unit is easy to lift and place into your pool. Its compact 20-inch footprint helps maneuver around ladders and corners.

The biggest hurdle is the price, which positions this as an investment rather than an impulse buy. Additionally, the smart scheduling relies on a stable Wi-Fi connection, and the lack of existing customer reviews means you are trusting the brand's reputation more than verified owner feedback.

The Dolphin Nautilus CC is a robotic pool cleaner designed to take the hassle out of pool maintenance. It is best suited for owners of above-ground or in-ground pools up to 33 feet in length who want a set-it-and-forget-it solution. With its wall-climbing ability and active scrubbing brush, this unit promises a thorough clean without manual effort.

Standout features include the top-load filter basket, which makes emptying debris quick and mess-free. The plug-and-play system means you can start cleaning in minutes: just plug it in, drop it in the water, and let it run for about two hours. Real-world performance is strong on walls and floors, though heavy debris may require more frequent filter cleaning.

Design-wise, the Nautilus CC is compact and lightweight at under 15 pounds, making it easy to lift in and out of the pool. The blue/black color scheme is standard, and the build quality feels durable. Dolphin has a legacy of reliability, and this model continues that tradition with robust materials and a simple interface.

One potential drawback is that the filter basket, while convenient, can fill up quickly in pools with lots of leaves or sand, requiring attention mid-cycle. Also, the price is higher than entry-level cleaners, but the added wall scrubbing and filter ease justify the cost for many users.

Overall, the Dolphin Nautilus CC is an excellent choice for pool owners who value convenience and effective cleaning. It aims to eliminate the manual drudgery of pool maintenance with a combination of an active scrubber brush and smart navigation. This is a solid choice for pool owners who want a set-it-and-forget-it solution without breaking the bank.

Standout features include the active scrubber brush, which actively agitates dirt and debris from pool surfaces, and the top-load filter basket that makes emptying a breeze. In practice, the robot navigates intelligently, scanning the pool to determine the most efficient cleaning path. While it does not clean walls or the waterline, it does a thorough job on the floor and coves, completing a cycle in roughly 1.5 hours.

Design and build quality reflect Dolphin's 40-year legacy. The unit feels solid yet lightweight at just under 15 pounds. The plug-and-play system means no complicated installation: simply connect the power supply, lower the robot into the water, and turn it on. Potential drawbacks are worth considering. The lack of wall and waterline cleaning means you'll still need to manually brush those areas. Also, the robot does not offer scheduling via an app or remote – it runs a fixed cycle each time you plug it in. For pools with heavy leaf or debris loads, the filter basket may require frequent emptying during the cycle.

Overall, the Dolphin Nautilus AG delivers on its promise of effortless floor cleaning for above-ground pools. It earns a 4-star rating for its reliability, user-friendliness, and performance. If you don't mind occasional manual touch-ups on walls and are looking for a straightforward, effective robotic cleaner, this is a strong investment.
